What i feel as Speaker AWS Summit Jakarta 2026

Session DEV209 — Building an Autonomous DevOps Agent on AWS
Had the privilege of speaking at AWS Summit Jakarta 2026, sharing my hands-on exploration of AWS DevOps Agent and AI-assisted incident response.
From submitting the session proposal, hands-on experimentation, demo preparation, multiple rounds of feedback and coaching, to finally presenting DEV209 on stage — it was an incredibly valuable journey.
Being on stage as a speaker was both exciting and humbling. Standing in front of fellow engineers, cloud practitioners, and members of the AWS community made me realize that speaking is not just about sharing what we know, but also about sharing what we have learned along the way — including the challenges, failures, and lessons behind the final result.
I was also reminded that preparing a technical session is very different from simply building something. You need to understand the topic deeply, simplify complex ideas, anticipate questions, and communicate the value in a way that others can relate to. That process pushed me to learn even more about the technology I was presenting.
Most importantly, this experience gave me the confidence to keep learning, experimenting, and sharing. I hope this is not just a one-time experience, but the beginning of more opportunities to contribute to the community and learn from others.
Huge thanks to AWS, Eryan Ariobowo, and Shafraz Rahim for the guidance and support throughout the preparation, and to all the fellow speakers and AWS community members who made the Summit memorable.
Grateful for the opportunity, proud of the journey, and excited for what comes next.
“Will AI make me obsolete?”
“No — if you evolve.”
